The wall of masks

We recently added a number of masks to a wall in our humble apartment. It is a bit spooky, but I love it. I have been collecting masks for quite a while now and the idea of finally having them displayed pleases me tremendously.

The masks come from different parts of the globe: Egypt, Morocco, Italy and Jordan. My favorite is the one in the inset photo. It just looks soooo elegant!

  2. Well, it was a gift from my friend Sandy in Jordan. She told me she got it from there. I think she reads this blog, so maybe we’ll be seeing a reply soon.
If not, I will send her an E-mail and ask her. I promise.

  4. Ok Zaid, here is Sandy’s reply:
“I got you the mask from a place called Ornamenta, it’s in Abdoun near Matrix, or in front of Titles (A bookshop).
I might have seem some at Lifestye too (it’s a place at Mecca Mall, Ground floor).”
