Laith Majali

Nothing really makes my day like hearing about Jordanians
making it abroad. Laith Majali is but one of them. Here is an article about him from Elon University in North Carolina. Best of luck in all
of your future endeavors Laith. You are making all of us proud.

  1. I’ll throw in my two cents about Laith. I first met him here in LA last summer. I was actually quite pre-occupied thinking about a girl I was in love with…heartache and all. But my brother had met this Laith guy in Jordan in the summer and had given him my number in LA and suggested we should meet (two Jordanians who love cinema…makes sense). So Laith called me up and we hung out. Immediately we hit it off. There was something very funny and pleasant about this guy. He made my stomach hurt from the laughter at his impersonations of Yasser Arafat and other political figures. Anyways, now we’ve become very good buddies and we work together on my short films. Heavy Weight (coming soon) is our latest collaboration. I write and direct, Laith edits and does the post work. It’s an excellent collaboration that we hope to be the first Jordanian partnership to penetrate the Hollywood system. Big things to come.
