My name is Natasha Tynes and I’m a Jordanian-American writer, journalist, and media professional based in Washington, DC.
My main specialty is media in the Middle East where I develop and manage training programs for journalists in the Arab World. I have worked as a reporter in the Middle East for more than a decade. I’m a former reporter and editor for Al Jazeera, the Jordan Times and Arabia Online. I have a Master’s degree in International Journalism from London’s City University and over a decade of journalism experience in both online and traditional media.
The sole purpose of this blog is to keep me sane. It is the space where I plan to dump all the junk that is in my head. I will primarily pontificate on media, life in the nation’s capital, and the mayhem that is the Middle East.
I warn you, though, every once in a while I will publish a narcissistic post about how exciting my life is. You can reach me at ntynes[at]gmail.com
