Natasha Tynes My name is Natasha Tynes and I’m a Jordanian-American writer, journalist,  and media professional based in Washington, DC.

My specialties include global media development, citizen journalism, social and digital media. While working at the International Center for Journalists, I developed and managed training programs for journalists around the world with a special focus on the Middle East. I have worked as a reporter in the Middle East for more than a decade. I’m a former reporter and editor for Al Jazeera, the Jordan Times and Arabia Online. I have a Master’s degree in International Journalism from London’s City University and over a decade of journalism experience in both online and traditional media.

I’m also an expert on the Middle East and has appeared on a number of national and international TV programs, including Larry King Live, PBS’s Foreign Exchange with Daljit Dhaliwal, Paula Zahn show, CBS’s Morning show, Scarborough Country, BBC’s Up all night, among others.
