A look back: A young King Hussein by Natasha Tynes | Jun 26, 2006 | Jordan, my nation, Shutterbug | 8 comments My wonderful friend Muna provided me with this historic photo that shows the late King Hussein as a young boy sitting in the lap of his grandfather, King Abdullah I. Isn’t it just priceless! Thanks Muna! I like these photos. Dad Reply Lauren on June 27, 2006 at 6:12 pm Who knew when this was taken that he would be king in little more than a decade. When I get home, I’ll clean and sharpen it up a bit more so things are a bit clearer. Reply omar on June 26, 2006 at 2:53 pm Awesome photograph! thanks for Sharing! Reply dm on June 26, 2006 at 1:24 pm I have a question that isn’t related to this post, but it’s something that I’ve wanted to ask. I know that the black covering that Islamic women wear is called an abaya. I swear that I have heard the same thing referred to as a chador (sp?). Is there a difference, or is it the same thing? Thanks. Reply Leave a Reply to Larry Tynes Cancel replyYour email address will not be published.Comment Name Email Website Δ This site uses Akismet to reduce spam.
